Pemiscot County

Route CC in Pemiscot County will be closed as contractor crews replace the Little River bridge. This section of roadway is located between County Road 208 and County Road 218, near Wardell, Missouri. Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, Nov. 30, with completion anticipated Monday, Jan. 25. A signed detour will be in place. This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

Route A in Pemiscot County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge over Drainage Ditch #71 near Bragg City, Missouri. This section of roadway is located between County Road 286 and Route K.  Weather permitting, work will begin Tuesday, Sept. 1 with completion anticipated Tuesday, Jan. 26. This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.  

Southbound Interstate 55 in Pemiscot County will be reduced with a 13-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.  The following lane closures will be in place on Interstate 55:

  • Work will extend from mile marker 10.4 to mile marker 8.2. Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Jan. 26 through Friday, Feb. 5 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
  • Work will extend from mile marker 7.8 to mile marker 6.8. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Feb. 1 through Monday, Feb. 8 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Route 153 in Dunklin and Pemiscot Counties will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge over Drainage Ditch Number 84. This section of roadway is located between County Road 439 in Dunklin County and Route EE in Pemiscot County. Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, Feb. 1, with completion anticipated Saturday, May 1. A signed detour will be in place. This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
