Perry County

NB and SB Interstate 55 in Perry County will be reduced to one lane with a 16-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform guardrail work and pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from mile marker 135 at Route M to mile marker 129 at Route 51 near Perryville, Missouri. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Feb. 10 through Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. including weekends as necessary.

Route A in Perry County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from Deer Crossing Lane to County Road 444, near Altenburg, Missouri. Weather permitting, work will begin Wednesday, June 1 through Monday, Aug. 1 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Work will be completed under one-lane traffic using temporary signals.

Route 51 in Perry County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as construction crews perform center turn lane additions. This section of roadway is located from Route T to Old St. Mary’s Road in Perryville, Missouri.  Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 6 through Tuesday, November 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. 

Work to rehabilitate the Chester Bridge will soon get underway. The bridge spans the Mississippi River, connecting the cities of Perryville, Missouri and Chester, Illinois via MO Route 51/IL Route 150. The upcoming maintenance project will include pavement rehab and minor structural steel repairs. Route 51 will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction in the vicinity of the bridge. Temporary signals will be in place to guide motorists through the work zone. Weather permitting, work will begin Tuesday, July 5, with completion anticipated Thursday, Dec. 1.

Route KK in Perry and Bollinger Counties will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from Route 51 in Perry County to Route K in Bollinger County near Sedgewickville, Missouri. Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday June 29 through Wednesday, July 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
