Reynolds County

Route K in Iron and Reynolds Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction while contractor crews perform grading and pavement repairs. The section of roadway is located between Route 21 in Ellington, Missouri and Route 49 in Annapolis, Missouri. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Feb. 23 through Monday, July 31 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.  

Route U in Reynolds County will be reduced to one lane as Contractor crews resurface the roadway.  This section of roadway is located between Route 49 and County Road 204 near Lesterville, Missouri.  Weather permitting, work will take place Friday, May 19 through Friday, June 30 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.  This project is part of Gov. Parson’s Rural Road program. The state’s approved Fiscal Year 2023 budget provided an additional $100 million in General Revenue for work on Missouri’s low volume rural roads. Using asset management data, MoDOT has identified approximately 1700 lane miles of low volume roads ranked in Poor Condition. By the end of this summer, these 113 locations will receive resurfacing treatments of hot asphalt to improve the road conditions. 

Route 72 in Reynolds County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews construct sidewalks. This project is part of the Missouri Department of Transportation's initiative to bring roadway facilities into compliance with the current standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The work zone is located from Center Street to Elm Street in Lesterville, Missouri.  Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, April 10 through Friday, June 30 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
