Scott County

Business U.S. 61 in Scott County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad. This section of roadway is located between Route M (Main Street) and Greer Street, in Scott City, Missouri. Weather permitting, work will begin Thursday, Dec. 3, with completion anticipated Tuesday, June 1, 2021. A signed detour will be in place. This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

North and Southbound Interstate 55 in Scott County will be reduced with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge repairs. This section of roadway is located between mile marker 73.4 to mile marker 77.4  Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, March 29 with completion anticipated Tuesday, May 25.

Southbound Interstate 55 in Scott County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge repairs. This section of roadway is located from mile marker 89 to mile marker 85. Weather permitting, work will begin Wednesday, March 31, with completion anticipated Friday, April 30.

Northbound Interstate 55 in Scott County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge repairs. This section of roadway is located from mile marker 85 to mile marker 89. Weather permitting, work will begin Thursday, April 22, with completion anticipated Friday, May 28.

Route H in Scott County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway. This section of roadway is located between County Road 528 and County Road 524. Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, April 14 and Thursday, April 15 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Route N in Scott County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway. This section of roadway is located between Route D and County Road 349. Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, April 14 through Thursday, April 15 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
