Northbound U.S. Route 63 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform concrete replacement. This section of roadway is located from County Road 1820 to County Road 1350. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Oct. 26 at 6:30 a.m. through Thursday, Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. The work zone will be set-up for 24-hours a day.
U.S. Route 60-Contractor crews will soon begin work to repair slopes along U.S. Route 60 in Howell, Shannon, Carter and Butler Counties. The project will extend from Business 60 in Willow Springs, Missouri, to U.S. Route 67 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The impact to traffic will be minimal. Drivers should anticipate short lane drops and shoulder closures along Route 60. Weather permitting, work will be underway Tuesday, Sept. 8 through Saturday, Oct. 31, including weekends as necessary.
Route 142 in Howell and Ozark Counties will be reduced as contactor crews perform pavement overlay. The route is located from Route 101 in Ozark County to Route E in Howell County. Weather permitting, work take place on Monday, Oct. 5 through Saturday, Oct. 31 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily with some weekends as necessary.
Route AB-Construction to improve Route AB in West Plains, Missouri, will soon be underway. The project will include grading, paving and drainage improvements to raise the roadway and help mitigate issues with flooding. As work is underway, Route AB will be CLOSED from County Road 6310 to County Road 6610. Weather permitting, work will be begin Monday, Sept. 21, with completion anticipated Sunday, Nov. 15.
