Howell County

Westbound US 60 in Howell and Texas Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement improvements. This section of roadway is located from south US 63 in Willow Springs, MO. in Howell County to north US 63 in Cabool, MO. in Texas County. Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, March 14 through Friday, July 21 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, with weekends as necessary.

Route 17 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews construct sidewalks. This project is part of the Missouri Department of Transportation's initiative to bring roadway facilities into compliance with the current standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The work zone is located from US 60 to just south of 5th Street in Mountain View, Missouri.  Weather permitting, work will take place Friday, Jan. 13 through Friday, March 31 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.   

Business 63 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform signal improvements in various locations in West Plains, Missouri. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Feb. 20 through Friday, March 31 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. including weekends as necessary. Work will take place at the following locations:

  • Business 63 and Washington Ave.
  • Business 63 and Missouri Ave.
  • Business 63 and Porter Wagoner Blvd.

  • Pine Street to just south of Cherry Street
  • Summit Street to Garfield Street.

Route 137 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews construct sidewalks. This project is part of the Missouri Department of Transportation's initiative to bring roadway facilities into compliance with the current standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Weather permitting, work will take place today, Wednesday, Feb. 22 through Saturday, March 25 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary. Work will take place at the following locations in Willow Springs, MO:

  • West Valley Street to the BNSF Railroad Bridge
  • Walnut Street to 7th Street
