Northbound U.S. 63 - Contractor crews will reconstruct the road network surrounding Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri. The new signalized intersection on Route 63 will provide greater access to the new Medical Office Building and the newly relocated Emergency Room, enhancing provide intersection improvements and reconstruct the road network surrounding the medical center safety and relieving congestion in the area. The project was selected under Governor Parson’s 2019 cost-share program. During construction, intermittent lane closures will occur on northbound U.S. Route 63 between 8th Street and Broadway Street. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Feb. 7 through Friday, Sept. 23 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.
Contractor crews began work to improve U.S. Route 160 in Ozark and Howell Counties. The project includes pavement overlay and adding rumble strips from south Missouri Route 5 in Ozark County to Missouri Route 101 in Howell County. Motorists should anticipate a lane reduction with a 10-foot width restriction. Weather permitting, work will be underway Wednesday, May 18 through Friday, July 22 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., including weekends as necessary. As construction is underway, flaggers will be present, and traffic will be guided through the work zone by a pilot car.
Missouri Route 17 in Howell and Texas Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews remove erosion control/ditch checks from along the roadside. This section of roadway is located U.S. Route 60 in Mountain View, Missouri to Route 106 in Summersville, Missouri. Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, June 22 through Friday, July 15 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., including weekends as necessary. Flaggers will be present and traffic will be guided through the work zone by a pilot car.
