Innovation Description and Benefit:

Traffic site data is captured from the field using a purchased software, twice a week.  The format of the data would take about 24-48 hours to be processed and converted in a proper format.  A group of programmers developed a process that converts the data within 30 seconds to a minute depending on the size of the files.

Traffic data can now begin to be processed within a few minutes rather than one to two days.   Considering this is done twice a week, reporting has been expedited as this data is required for state and federal government reporting for state-wide traffic.
