Innovation Description and Benefit:

The Asset Management Plan (AMP) is a key part of MoDOT’s planning process, guiding projects that maintain the existing transportation system. Historically, AMP results were shared via dense spreadsheets, making comparisons and trend analysis difficult. To improve clarity and usability, an interactive Power BI dashboard was developed, featuring clickable charts and filters for district-level and statewide views. This innovation enables quick analysis of year-over-year changes, supports informed decision-making, and replaces manual processes with dynamic, accessible reporting. First used in the 2025 Management Review meeting, the dashboard was well-received and has significantly enhanced the strategic value of AMP reporting.
