Districts Impacted
This bundle will address driving surface issues on 11 bridges in Jefferson City, including and deck repairs and overlays, as needed. Included in this project is the removal of a bridge that is no longer in use. Traffic control plans include single-lane closures, narrowing traffic in both directions to one lane, ramp closures, and full road closures.
PROJECT PROGRESS
The Missouri Department of Transportation and its consultant designed the rehabilitation of 11 bridges and removal of one bridge that is no longer in use. No additional right of way is needed.
During the two-week comment period that ran June 4-18, 2024, the community and interested parties had multiple avenues to learn about, ask questions, and submit input regarding the planned work and associated traffic impacts.
