The U.S. Route 60, Route C, and Route K Intersection Improvements Project will build a new interchange at U.S. Route 60 and Webster County Route C/K to improve safety and traffic flow and construct Outer Roads for improved connectivity north of Route 60.
A public meeting will be held on Thursday, October 2 from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm at Mill Creek Upper Elemenary School located at 308 S Cleveland Ave, Belton, MO 64012. The meeting will provide the opportunity for attendees to ask questions, learn more about the project, and leave a comment. MoDOT is committed to providing access to this event for all participants.
The meeting will be an open house meeting with no formal presentation. In addition to the public meeting on Oct. 2, there will also be an opportunity to view project displays and exhibits and leave comments on the project webpage beginning at 4 p.m. on Thurs., Oct. 2 until 4 p.m. on Thurs. Oct. 16. MoDOT plans to replace the Route 160 bridge over Cox Creek in Oregon County. The bridge is located approximately 3.8 miles east of Route 19 at Alton, Missouri. The new bridge will be wider than the existing structure. Work could begin as early as March 2027. A temporary bypass will be constructed to allow motorists to navigate through the area during construction. Construction will be underway for approximately four months.
The Missouri Route 13 and Route N Bridge Replacements and Rehabilitation in Polk County Project will replace the Polk County Route N bridge over Sadler Branch west of Humansville, replace the northbound Missouri Route 13 bridge over Brush Creek in Humansville, and replace the northbound bridge surface of the Missouri Route 13 bridge over North Dry Sac River south of Brighton.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will host a public meeting regarding intersection improvements in Lawson, Missouri. The meeting will take place March 27, 2025, from 4 pm - 7pm at the Lawson City Hall located at 103 S Pennsylvania Ave, Lawson, MO 64062. The U.S. Route 65 Corridor Upgrades in Benton, Hickory, and Dallas Counties include installing passing lanes along the Corridor between Buffalo and Warsaw, two (2) roundabouts in Buffalo, and one (1) roundabout in Warsaw. The public meeting will be held in the Buffalo High School Cafeteria.
This is the second public meeting for I-70 Environmental Assessment: I-435 to I-470 as an opportunity for community engagement during the study. The project study area includes I-70 in the Kansas City metropolitan area in Jackson County between Manchester Trafficway/I-435 and I-470. The meeting will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025 at Truman High School, 3301 S Noland Rd, Independence, MO 64055.

The project includes replacing the Route 51 bridge over the St. Francis River at Fisk, Missouri. This aging structure will be replaced with a new, wider bridge. The current bridge is 21 feet wide, and the new bridge will be 36 feet wide.
During construction, Route 51 will be closed in the vicinity of the bridge with traffic detouring to use Route DD in Fisk. The Fisk St. Francis River access will remain open, but boat traffic will not be able to travel south during construction.
Tentatively, the project is expected to be let in November 2026. Construction could start as early as the beginning of 2027. Completion is anticipated approximately nine months after the start of construction.
The U.S. Route 65 Corridor Upgrades in Benton, Hickory, and Dallas Counties include installing passing lanes along the Corridor between Buffalo and Warsaw, two (2) roundabouts in Buffalo, and one (1) roundabout in Warsaw. The public meeting will be held in the Warsaw High School. The meeting location has been changed from the Harry S. Truman Visitor Center in Warsaw; however, the date and time remain unchanged.

An in-person public meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at the Washington County Courthouse from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Members of the project team will be on hand to provide information and answer questions from the community. There will be no formal presentation, so members of the public can come and go as they please. By participating and commenting, the public can help MoDOT determine what best serves the needs of the motorists who use the bridges on an average day while being responsible stewards of available funding.
