JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold an open-house-style public meeting Tuesday, Sept. 22, to share information and gather public input about proposed safety improvements at multiple Columbia intersections. The meeting will give community members an opportunity to learn more about the planned work and provide feedback.
The proposed improvements include Missouri Route 763 (College Avenue) at University Avenue and Rollins Street, as well as Boone County Route B (Paris Road) at East Brown Station Road. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2027.
As part of the design process, MoDOT is providing multiple ways by which interested parties can provide feedback during the open comment period, Sept. 15 – Oct. 6, 2026. The public’s input by commenting, questioning, and providing community insight is essential in helping to guide the design and construction process.
