MoDOT will remove and replace the Route Z bridge over the Platte River in Platte County. This bridge carries approximately 700 vehicles a day. MoDOT decided to replace this 57-year-old bridge because of the age and condition of the structure.
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Buchanan County Interstate 229 Double Decker bridge in St. Joseph is now open. Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation completed annual maintenance of the bridge, signage and lighting this week.
