JACKSON COUNTY- The Missouri Department of Transportation is conducting a bridge replacement of the Holmes Street bridge over westbound and eastbound I-670 resulting in various traffic modifications. All work is weather permitting.
Holmes St. is closed from 14th St. to Truman Rd. there will also be short-term various lane closures on I-670 at Holmes St. throughout construction. Construction is scheduled to be completed by June 2026.
NOW until Saturday, November 22 at 8:00 p.m.
- Crews will close the right lane on EB I-670 from McGee to SB U.S. 71.
- Crews will close the WB I-670 ramp to Locust/Truman Road.
Thursday, August 28 at 7:00 p.m. until Friday, August 29 at 5:00 a.m.
- Crews will close the left lane on EB I-670 from Grand to I-35/I-29/US 71 Highway Ramp.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
