Districts Impacted
MoDOT will remove and replace the Route Z bridge over the Platte River in Platte County. This bridge carries approximately 700 vehicles a day. MoDOT decided to replace this 57-year-old bridge because of the age and condition of the structure.

Construction began Fall 2024 and will take 9-12 months to complete.
Traffic implications
Route Z will be closed during construction.
Westbound Detour:
- Route B to Route 116 to Route F and back to Route Z
Eastbound Detour:
- Route F to Route 116 to Route B and back to Route Z
