Project Summary

MoDOT is performing a Traffic Safety & Operations study for the Route 367 corridor, from just south of I-270 to just north of the Halls Ferry Circle. Engineers will review safety, speed, and crash data for the corridor, as well as review current and projected traffic volumes based on anticipated growth in the area.

Two public meetings will be held in spring and summer 2024. The first public meeting will be to gather public input and communicate initial data-gathering efforts to date, both of which will inform the ongoing traffic study and formulation of alternatives. The second public meeting will discuss traffic study findings, present alternatives that were studied, and share the preferred alternative planned for more detailed evaluation.

  4. Comments are always welcome and encouraged! Leaders of the project team are listed below. Emails are encouraged, and please reference the Route 367 Traffic Study.

What happens next?

The Traffic Safety & Operations study is expected to be completed summer 2024. Design of the planned improvements is expected to be completed by December 2026.

What will be the impact to traffic?

The project is currently in the study and analysis phase.  Periodic traffic data collection will be performed, but no construction will take place at this time, and traffic will not be interrupted.

How much will the project cost?

Up to $4 million in safety funds are anticipated to be used for safety improvements on the corridor.
