Public Meetings Summary

MoDOT has held three public meetings for the Route 47 project at the Union Community Center.

• Public Meeting #1: September 24, 2024 – Meeting materials were shared with attendees.
• Public Meeting #2: October 9, 2024 – The public comment period was open through October 23.
• Public Meeting #3: August 18, 2026 – MoDOT presented the Recommended Improvements to Route 47 from Route 100 in Washington through Union to Interstate 44 in St. Clair. The project concludes the Conceptual Study phase and transitioning to the Preliminary Design Phase.

•  Public Meeting/Hearing #4: This public meeting is scheduled for November 2026 (TBA).
