21: Wireless Anti-Ice System

Submitted by: St. Louis District

Innovation Description and Benefit:

Wireless Anti-Ice System was built to avoid running 12 wires to the back of TMA trucks to power each valve.  This innovation is built from existing parts from the new wireless TMAs. To power the system a trailer, plug with a 12v power and ground from the existing trailer plug on the truck is needed.  The remote has three options: center lane, left lane and right lane. By pushing these buttons is easily powers on the valves.  This innovation simplifies work for technicians by being able to build the wireless system on their work bench and then easily transfer the system and mount it on the anti-ice tank frames.
