Due to age, the Loughborough and Weber bridges over Interstate 55 need to be replaced and updated to current standards. At the same time, the city of St. Louis needs to replace the Loughborough bridge over the railroad tracks to the west. current plans include working on both bridges at the same time to reduce impact to traffic.
