This is a bridge replacement project at Cookingham Drive over I-435 just west of the I-435 and U.S. 169 interchange in Platte County.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Details
- Cookingham Drive bridge over I-435 was originally built in 1977 and carries 2500 vehicles per day.
- The existing bridge has reached the end of its service life and needs to be replaced.
- Cookingham Drive will be closed for the duration of the project and a detour will be provided. I-435 will remain open to traffic. Drivers will be diverted up and down the ramps for bridge demolition and to install girders.
