About the Sandy Creek Bridge project

The project will replace the 125-foot long, 20-foot wide Sandy Creek Bridge which was built in 1958. The one-lane, structurally-deficient bridge, which includes a load-posting for trucks over 18 tons, will be replaced with a wider, two-lane bridge that meets current standards.
