Write Up:

The Missouri General Assembly has addressed many transportation needs in the state, highlighted by the investment in I-70 and several locations of I-44. Missouri’s fiscal year 2025 budget from the General Assembly and support by Governor Parson provides General Revenue for the costs to plan, design, construct, reconstruct, rehabilitate and repair designated segments and other Interstate 44 needs from Tier 2 and 3 of the High Priority Unfunded Needs list.

In addition to the Interstate 44 projects, the General Assembly also made substantial investments in other projects. These other projects are funded by General Revenue and Budget Stabilization Fund on corridors including, but not limited to, routes such as US 65, US 67, and Interstate 70, and are to conduct environmental studies on future corridor enhancements, construct multimodal projects, and improve pavement conditions on rural routes around the state.  MoDOT is tracking progress of these projects from environmental completion to final completion.

Purpose of the Measure:

The purpose of this measure is to track the progress made on the Legislative Designated Projects provided by the Missouri General Assembly. The measure will track the quarterly progress of projects based on their stage of project delivery: environmental, design, awarded, construction and completion.    

Measurement and Data Collection:

The data for this Tracker measure is collected from district staff responsible for oversight of the projects including. Project delivery milestones are entered into a list that tracks the status of all Legislative Designated Projects.
