What the current situation?

As a part of on-going bridge maintenance and continuing efforts to maintain Missouri interstates and roadways, MoDOT needs to complete significant maintenance on the Interstate 64 bridges over Vandeventer.  The eastbound interstate bridge has reached the end of it's useful life and needs to be replaced, while the westbound bridge is scheduled for significant rehabilitation.  The work on the two bridges is set to start in late 2026, but MoDOT is still working on the details on the impacts for the work, and how the work will be completed.  We'll share more details a little later this year.
