Cost: $1,575,022

Work Taking Place: Crews will make some roadway improvements at various locations along the north outer road of I-70 near the Route D bridge. The Route D bridge over I-70 will be replaced.

Traffic Impact: During construction Route D will be closed at the bridge location for up to three months. Signs will alert motorists of the closed road. Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes around the construction.

In order to remove the existing bridge, I-70 will need to be temporarily closed. The contractor will be allowed an 8-hour period to close I-70 for one night only on Tuesday, June 23. During this time, traffic will be detoured from the Routes A/Z interchange onto the I-70 North Outer Road to the Routes D/YY interchange. In the case of inclement weather, this work will be completed on Wednesday, June 24.
