The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to improve two bridges in Scott and Cape Girardeau Counties. The bridge projects include:
Monday, July 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Boonville High School Gymnasium located at 1 Pirate Drive, Boonville, MO 65233.
The open-house style meeting will provide the opportunity for nearby residents, businesses, and travelers to learn about and provide comments regarding the planned improvements. No formal presentation will be made. The public can come and go as they need anytime during the advertised hours. Engineers and staff from the Missouri Department of Transportation and the design consultant Burns & McDonnell will be on hand to answer questions.
Written comments may be submitted at the meeting. Those interested can also review materials and make comments on the project website beginning on Monday, July 21, until Wednesday, Aug. 20.

The 'Forward 44: Southwest I-44 Improvements Project' is a Design-Build initiative that includes enhancements at multiple locations along I-44, spanning from Newton County to Laclede County. This project is part of the Forward 44 Planning Study.. The meeting will be held at Crossway Baptist Church.
