The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) invites the public to an open house-style meeting to discuss the proposed safety improvements on Route 30 in Jefferson County. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 24, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Cedar Hill Elks Lodge, 8430 Industrial Dr, Cedar Hill, MO 63016.

These improvements are a part of the vital effort of the regional Safety Improvements Project in the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, and Jefferson County.

During the last five years, there were 1,620 crashes within a 20-mile stretch of Route 30 in Jefferson County from Route Y to Old Sugar Creek Road. MoDOT’s plan is to reduce crashes, especially those that result in serious or fatal injuries, at various locations along Route 30 by installing several different types of safety improvements.
