Innovation Description and Benefit:

The SAFER tool was developed to facilitate the safety discussion throughout all phases of a project.  It is not an all-inclusive list, but it is intended to serve as a reminder of some of the most common safety considerations that should be looked at on a project.  As we are seeing high turnover this is attempting to be a first step in trying to fill the gap of what some newer employees may not know to consider and act as a reminder to those with more experience.
