Project Summary
Improve I-70: Concordia to Boonville will be a $541 million Design-Build project that will add a third lane in each direction and improve the 42-mile stretch of Interstate 70 from Route 23 in Concordia to Route 5 in Boonville.
This project is scheduled to be awarded in Spring/Summer 2027 with construction beginning that fall. Anticipated completed is in late 2030.
This project is one of several which will modernize the I-70 corridor across the state. Since its original construction more than 50 years ago, I-70 has been a vital lifeline for moving people, goods and information across Missouri and beyond.
