When:
The project took place in 2022.
Cost:
The contracted cost of the project was $1,965,191 (includes the Route A Bridge in Cole County).
Work Taking Place:
The replacement of the bridge. The new bridge raises the roadway grade by six inches to help with flooding.
Project Milestones
The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the contract to Gene Haile Excavating, which submitted the low bid of $1,956,191. The contract also includes the Cole County Route A bridge replacement over South Moreau Creek.
The new bridge was reopened to traffic on December 9, 2022.
