Osage County Route N Bridge Replacement Over Contrary Creek
This project replaced the bridge over Contrary Creek on Osage County Route N, between US Route 50 and Route J, approximately 1.2 miles north of US Route 50.
This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

Cost:
The contract cost of the project is $633,921.
Work Taking Place:
The former bridge over Contrary Creek was built in 1958 and reached a point where a bridge replacement was necessary.
Project Milestones
On October 7, 2020, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the contract for the project to E & C Bridge, which submitted the low bid of $633,921.
Work began on August 18, 2021.
The work was completed, and the bridge reopened to traffic, on October 1, 2021.
