OSAGE COUNTY – Next year the Missouri Department of Transportation will be replacing the Osage County Route N bridge over Contrary Creek.
The bridge is located The existing Contrary Creek structure was built in 1958 and is 62-years-old. The condition of the bridge has reached a point where the bridge girders and deck must be replaced.
The project will be completed by a contractor for MoDOT and is scheduled to be opened to bids in late 2020. Construction is expected to take place in 2021.While work is taking place, Route N will be closed at the bridge for up to two and a half months. Motorists will be encouraged to use an alternate route.
This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
