St. Joseph, Mo. – The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of March 16-22.
There may be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. Check the MoDOT Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org, or download the app for updated information.

Atchison County
U.S. Route 136 – Resurfacing project through July 2026. The road will be narrowed to one lane, and a 10-foot width restriction will be in place. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.)
Buchanan County

U.S. Route 169 – CLOSED for an intersection improvement project at Southeast Riverside Terrace through mid-July 2026. (Contractor: Hoy Excavating, LLC) https://www.modot.org/projects/us-route-169-intersection-improvements-buchanan-county.
Route 169 – Intersection improvement project at Route FF through mid-August 2026. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place. Access to 49th Street will be closed through June 2026. (Contractor: Leavenworth Excavating & Equipment Company, Inc.)
U.S. Route 169 – Utility/permit work at Route FF, through March 22. The road will be narrowed to one lane during daytime hours with flaggers guiding motorists through the work zone.
Caldwell County
Route 13 – ADA improvements project from Samuel Street to School Street in Hamilton through mid-April. Route 13 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).
Carroll County
Route 10 – Pavement repair and resurfacing project from Route FF to Route C in Ray County, through May 15. The road will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers guiding motorists through the work zone. (Contractor: Emery Sapp and Sons LLC).
U.S. Route 65 – Striping operation, March 18-April 1. This will be a moving operation. Motorists should expect delays. A 16-foot width restriction will be in place. (Contractor: Capital Paving and Construction, LLC).
Chariton County
Route PP – CLOSED at the Mid-Fork Chariton River Overflow Bridge for replacement projects through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through March 2026. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin) *1
Route O – CLOSED at the Bee Creek Bridge for a replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through April 2026. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin) *1

Clinton County
I-35 – Concrete replacement southbound from the 41.2 mile marker to the 36.4 mile marker, March 16-20. Southbound will be narrowed to one lane around-the-clock with a 10-foot width restriction.
Daviess County
Route 13 – ADA improvements project from Berry Street to Van Buren Street in Gallatin through mid-April. Route 13 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers. (Contractor: Herzog Contracting Corp.).
DeKalb County
U.S. Route 36 – Concrete replacement westbound from I-35 to Ensign Trace, March 17-20. Westbound will be narrowed to one lane around-the-clock.
Harrison County
Route N – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from East Diamond Road to Route O, March 16, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Holt County
Route 111 – CLOSED for bridge work from Beagle Road to America Drive, March 16-19, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Route B – Bridge rehabilitation project at the South Nichols Creek bridge, south of New Point, March 16 through early May 2026. The bridge will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers. Linn County
