What: Contractor crews inspecting manholes
Traffic Impacts:
- Expect lane closures on Missouri Route 66 (7th Street) where crews are working
- At least one Route 66 (7th Street) lane open in each direction
- Drivers may experience some delays
- Drivers are urged to use caution due to crews and equipment working close to traffic
- All Route 66 (7th Street) lanes open to traffic during daytime hours
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zone
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes
- No signed detours
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
Details: This work is in advance of a project to make pavement, sidewalk, traffic and safety improvements along Missouri Route 66 (7th Street) in Joplin between Jasper County Route P (Schifferdecker Avenue) and Loop 49 (Range Line Road).
