Upcoming closures for Prospect Ave. bridge over I-70, Sept. 20-Dec. 22

Interstate 70 Bridge Replacement at Prospect Avenue in Jackson

JACKSON COUNTY –  MoDOT is in the process of replacing the Prospect Ave. bridge over Interstate 70. This work will require the complete closure of the following ramps:

  • NEW scheduled closure: The on and off ramps from Prospect Ave. to eastbound I-70 will be closed beginning at approximately 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20 through Dec. 22

*Starting at Truman street, northbound Prospect Ave. traffic will be directed toward Paseo to access eastbound I-70.

  • Ongoing scheduled closure: The on and off ramps from Prospect Ave. to westbound I-70 will be closed through Dec. 22

*Starting at 12th street, southbound Prospect Ave. traffic will be directed toward Paseo to access westbound I-70.
