The comment period will be open until Wednesday, Nov. 4. The public is encouraged to review the project plans and information as well ask questions or leave comments via the comment form available on the project webpage.

The U.S. 50 bridges over Chipman Rd. are nearing the end of their functional lives and must be replaced. Construction of the new bridges is scheduled to begin in spring 2022 with an anticipated completion date sometime in winter 2022-2023. The new structures will provide for a more reliable service for traffic, and sidewalks will be provided on both sides of Chipman Rd. through the interchange providing new critical connections for pedestrians.
