JACKSON COUNTY – As part of the bridge construction work along U.S. 24 over Delaware St. in Independence, MO, MoDOT Kansas City will have daily closures of Delaware St. from approximately St. Charles R. to Bess Truman Rd. This work will be daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning on Wednesday, March 25 until Wednesday, April 1. All work is weather permitting.

The goals of this project include replacing the existing structure economically, minimizing traffic impacts along U.S. 24, and providing context-sensitive aesthetic enhancements all while staying within the existing right of way footprint.
