Missouri Highways & Transportation Commission To Meet Wednesday, June 6, in West Plains

Public Invited to Attend

SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission will hold its monthly meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6. The meeting will be held at the West Plains Civic Center, 1100 St. Louis Street, in West Plains, Missouri. The meeting is expected to last around two hours, and the public is invited to attend the event.

Following the meeting, the public is also invited to meet the commission at an open house in the lobby of the Civic Center. The open house will begin at approximately at 11:45 a.m.

The commission holds meetings in Jefferson City the first five months of each year, while the legislature is in session; the other seven months commission meetings are held throughout the state.

“We are pleased to visit the city of West Plains, located in MoDOT’s Southeast District,” said Commission Chairman Gregg Smith. “We look forward to learning more about the area’s transportation needs and invite anyone who is interested to attend this meeting.”
