SIKESTON-The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a community briefing from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 to discuss intersection improvements at Route PP and Township Line Road. The meeting will also cover safety improvements to the Route 67 crossover at Township Line Road. The briefing will be held at the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce office, located at 111 West Pine in Poplar Bluff.
"Visitors can stop-by anytime between 4 and 6 p.m. to discuss the details of the project with a member of the project team and provide their comments," said Area Engineer David Wyman.
The proposed intersection improvements at Route PP and Township Line Road would help traffic flow more smoothly. The proposed intersection improvements at Route 67 and Township Line Road would improve safety at this intersection.
MoDOT is currently examining two options for the Route PP/Township Line intersection project. The two alternates include constructing a roundabout at the intersection. Three options for the Route 67 crossover will also be shared at the public meeting.
