MoDOT’s CET Program gives students the chance to use current classroom knowledge and gain hands-on experience in their field of study in a professional workplace.
The workplace experience is designed to compliment classroom learning and setting students up for success.

To be eligible, you must:
- Have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Be enrolled and pursing a two-year degree in a STEM-related program or four-year degree in a STEM-related or business-related field.
- Be enrolled full time at a public funded Missouri college or university.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Meet MoDOT's hiring requirements and minimum qualifications for available MoDOT-related technician positions.
Program eligibility is determined by the CET coordinator and Human Resources staff.
