Enon Creek Bridge Replacement

Below are details, resources and news about the replacement of the Moniteau County Route A bridge over Enon Creek, located west of Enon.  This bridge has reached a condition where replacement is necessary. 

Project Details

When: The project is expected to take place in 2022.

Cost: The estimated cost of the project is $716,000.

Work Taking Place: The project consists of replacing the existing Enon Creek Bridge. The proposed new bridge will raise the roadway grade by six inches to help with flooding. 

Traffic Impact: During construction, Route A will be closed at the bridge to traffic. Motorists will need to use alternate routes. This bridge will not be under construction at the same time as the Cole County Route A South Moreau Creek Bridge. Specific lane closure information will be announced through signs, media releases and social media when a timeline for the project has been established.
