2021 Construction projects in the city of St. Louis
I-44 bridge improvements – This project improves the Jefferson bridge. Crews will finish constructing a new driving surface from Compton to I-55. Will also include resurfacing work under the bridge. Resurfacing should be complete in spring 2021.
I-44 at Broadway and express lanes at Broadway – Replaces the Broadway bridge over I-44. Work should be complete by mid 2022.
I-64 interchange improvements – This project makes improvements to the I-64 interchange with Jefferson and 22nd Street. Work is scheduled to be completed by summer 2022.
I-64 ramp improvements – This project adds additional wrong-way indicators at corridor ramps. This project will be complete by fall 2021.
Route 115 safety improvements – This project places a new surface on the roadway between the city limits and I-70. Adds roundabouts at Goodfellow, Vandeventer and Salisbury/Parnell. Includes a road diet and median barriers between Shreve and Salisbury/Parnell. Will be completed in mid-2021.
Route 366 pavement updates – This project resurfaces Route 366 from the city limits to Broadway. This project will start in spring 2021 and be complete in the fall.
