The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is soliciting input from the public on Missouri’s transportation priorities. The department is launching a Virtual Public Information Meeting to gather information as it updates both the Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) and the State Freight and Rail Plan (SFRP).

Both the LRTP and SFRP are federally required plans that serve as a roadmap for the state’s transportation network through 2050 – addressing the evolving needs of the system and setting priorities.

In Person

The bridge on Cole County Route AA over South Moreau Creek is slated for rehabilitation in 2026. Built in 1965, the supporting structures are in good condition, but the driving surface has deteriorated and needs to be replaced. At the in-person public meeting members of the project team will be on hand to answer questions, provide information, and receive direct feedback on construction staging and answer questions from the community.

There will be no formal presentation, so members of the public can come and go as they please.
