What is MoDOT doing on this Project?
The purpose and need of this project is to improve the safety and operations of the Route 92 and Interstate 29 interchange for vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The project scope includes realigning and signalizing the west I-29 ramps to provide better spacing between signals, adding sidewalk from Running Horse Road/Prairie View intersection and upgrading Route 92 east of I-29 for approximately 1000 feet.
What impact will this project have on traffic?
Work will reduce lanes during construction. Motorists should expect temporary lane closures, ramp closures, flagging operations and shoulder work.
What is the timeline for this project?
Construction is anticipated to start in spring 2021 and completed by winter 2021.

Total cost for this project is between $4 and 7 million.
