What is the project?

The Missouri Department of Transportation is enhancing three bridges over Route 364 in Maryland Heights to provide safety improvements as well as extend the life of the bridges. The bridges are: Seven Pines Drive, Amiot Drive and Bennington Place.

When will construction begin?

Construction will begin in the summer of 2021. The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of the year (2021).

What construction impacts can drivers expect?

Seven Pines Drive – This work will close all lanes in either direction (northbound or southbound) on Seven Pines Drive over Route 364 and divert one lane traffic in each direction onto the open lanes. This project will last one month.

Amiot Drive - This work will close all lanes in either direction (northbound or southbound) on Amiot Drive over Route 364 and divert one lane traffic in each direction onto the open lanes. This project will last one month.

Bennington Place – This work will completely close northbound Bennington Place traffic causing motorists to detour around the work zone. After northbound work is complete, southbound will completely close and motorists will have to detour around the work zone. Detours will be marked. This project will last two months.

What are the expected detours?

The suggested detours for Bennington Place and its ramps will be posted during construction:

During the northbound Bennington Place closure, drivers traveling eastbound on Route 364 can exit at Route 67 (Lindbergh) and take the loop ramps to access westbound Route 364 back to access Bennington Place.  The ramp to westbound Route 364 from northbound Bennington Place will be closed at the same time with the same detour being used.

During the southbound Bennington Place closure, drivers traveling westbound on Route 364 can take southbound Route 141 and access eastbound Route 364 to access southbound Bennington Place.  The ramp to eastbound Route 364 from southbound Bennington Place will be closed at the same time with the same detour being used.

What is the cost of this project?

This project is estimated at $1.9 Million.
