SIKESTON- The Missouri Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting to discuss plans for improvements to Route 67 in St. Francois County. The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bonne Terre City Hall, 118 N. Allen St.
The meeting will have an open-house format, so visitors can stop by to talk one-on-one with a member of the project team anytime between 4 and 7 p.m. No formal presentation will be given.
The project will include extending Hedgeapple Lane to meet Northwood Drive and removing the existing Route 67 crossover. By eliminating crossovers, MoDOT is increasing safety along Route 67. Also, in response to public input, a Route 47/K turn lane was recently added to the project
