Project Need and Purpose
The intersection of U.S. Route 169, N.E. Woodbine Road and N.E. County Line Road, located just north of St. Joseph, was identified for an intersection improvement project with the goal of reducing speed, the number of crash points, and confusion by providing clear direction. In addition, this project also seeks to address increasing traffic volumes as well as the shoulders and recovery zones on Route 169.
Over the past 10 years, there have been 3 serious injury, 9 minor injury, and 14 property damage only crashes reported.
