This project will replace the Route Y bridge over Interstate 70. The Route Y bridge is located on I-70 just north of Emma, MO (I-70 eastbound MM 62.6).
Construction is planned to begin Winter 2025 and be completed Fall 2025.

Why is the project happening?
The existing bridge was constructed in 1960 and has reached the end of its service life.
What will be the traffic implications?
I-70 lanes will have intermittent closures during construction. Lanes may be fully closed briefly to install girders. Route Y traffic will utilize a signed detour which will include the use of the outer roads.
What is the cost?
The project is estimated to cost around $4 million.
