Project Summary
This project will make improvements to the existing pedestrian facilities and sidewalks along 2.5 miles of Route D (Page Ave.) between Oak Ave. (just east of US-67) and Innerbelt Business Center Dr. (just west of I-170) in St. Louis County. In addition, the signalized intersection at Page Industrial Blvd. will be reconstructed. A separate project will be completed to address pavement improvements in the area.
What are the existing issues along Route D?
- Non-compliant Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramps and entrances
- Narrow sidewalks
- Aging signals at Page Industrial Blvd.

The public was invited to provide input on the project virtually through an interactive map of the corridor and a survey.

Is MoDOT purchasing property from landowners?
MoDOT will need to purchase some property and/or obtain temporary easements in order to construct the additional sidewalks and ADA improvements. A Right of Way representative will be contacting affected landowners to begin the acquisition process.
How much will this project cost?
The cost of construction is estimated at $4 million.
How can I provide input on the project?
An interactive map and survey were available to stakeholders Sept. 9 - Oct. 4, 2024. A public meeting was held Nov. 13, 2025.
