Route CC Roundabout Construction in Christian County

• Build a roundabout at Christian County Route CC, North Main Street & West Cedar Street in Nixa to improve safety and traffic flow
• Roundabout improvements will tie into the City of Nixa’s Main Street project
• Pedestrian facilities are part of the intersection
• Approximately 8,300 vehicles per day use the intersection
• Construction to begin in Fall 2025
• Estimated Total Cost: $5.75 million

Traffic Impacts

• Intersection closures will be in place during construction
• A signed detour using Route 160, Route 14, and Route 65 will be in place
• Access to businesses will be provided at all times
• Electronic message boards and news releases will warn the public of closures
• Drivers urged to use alternate routes during  construction to avoid the work zone
