Project Information

Project Facts:

  • Build two single lane roundabouts on Missouri Route 266 to improve safety and traffic flow west of Springfield:
  • Roundabout at Missouri Route 266 and Route B
  • Roundabout at Missouri Route 266 and Route AB and North Farm Road 99
  • Roadway lighting installed at roundabouts
  • Approximately 7,300 vehicles per day use these intersections

Estimated total project cost: $4,184,000

Traffic Impacts:

  • MO 266 to remain OPEN during construction
  • Intersections will have single lane closures during construction of roundabout lanes
  • North Farm Road 99 will be closed for up to 30 days
  • Drivers should find alternate routes to avoid the work zone
