Project Summary
This project will provide pavement resurfacing, guardrail and sign upgrades, add shoulders, curve realignment (at Union Pacific Railroad), and improve box culverts on Route MM from Route T to Route 100 in Franklin County.

IMPACTS TO TRAFFIC
Driving lanes will be open throughout the duration of the project, except for a period in spring/summer 2024 when a section of the roadway will be closed to thru traffic at the Union Pacific RR overpass for five to seven weeks. During this time, through traffic will be diverted to Route 100 as the designated detour. Other short-term lane closures are anticipated at various locations and times.

What work has been completed?
What is happening currently in Spring 2025?
Most of the shoulder widening and asphalt resurfacing work was completed Fall 2024. The contractor will still be performing grading work later this Spring. There are two large box culverts where crews perform extension work and address erosion issues. Traffic has been reduced to one lane with a temporary traffic signal during the course of this work (March 2025)
