PROJECT INFORMATION
About the Project
In partnership with the City of Blue Springs, MoDOT will make intersection and sidewalk improvements on Missouri Route 7 from Shaw Parkway to U.S. 40. This project includes the following improvements:
- Turn lane additions on Mock Ave. at MO 7
- ADA upgrades to existing sidewalks
- Construction of sidewalks on the east side of MO 7 through the entire project area
Estimated Cost and Funding
The project is currently estimated to cost 5.25 million.
- Funding was also made available by the City of Blue Springs and the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC).
- The project will let in January 2025 with completion scheduled for the end of 2025.
Construction and Potential Traffic Impacts
Construction is scheduled to take place beginning in Spring/Summer of 2025 through the end of 2025. During construction motorists may notice various lane and shoulder closures in the project area during construction. Access to driveways and entrances may also be impacted within the project area.
